Sarah Fort (JD ’12) spoke on a panel at the Legal Solutions to Coastal Climate Change Adaptation in Connecticut Conference held at the University of Connecticut School of Law and co-sponsored by the National Sea Grant Law Center on February 10, 2012.  The conference was the first statewide discussion of climate change adaptation issues and solutions in Connecticut.  Attended by over 100 participants, including representatives of state and local government, regulators, academia, technical experts and policy makers, the conference was designed to facilitate discussion regarding legal and policy approaches for coastal area climate change adaptation in Connecticut.  Ms. Fort participated in a panel on state and municipal strategies for climate change and specifically discussed potential adaptation strategies that the Clinic is exploring with the City of Boston and their potential applicability to coastal jurisdictions in Connecticut.
